Background: Technical Fixing Solutions (TFS) are a distributor of fixings, metal & brick support systems, tools and protective equipment to the construction industry. Red Dragon IT (RDIT) started working with TFS just over 10 years ago, when the company were expanding and found that their off the shelf software was not giving the level of functionality they required.


Foundation: The web team initialled the process through a series of meetings that led the client through their requirements and gaining an understanding of what was essential and what was desirable. From the supply and manufacturer of goods, to the distribution and consumer purchase, each part of the process needed to be managed efficiently including stock control. Our bespoke Database & Content Management System was a way of getting exactly what their business needed in order to function with maximum efficiency.


Outcome: We understand that IT plays an increasingly significant role in the management of complex retail operations. After the success of the Content Management System, TFS had the confidence and trust in Red Dragon I.T. to take over their Managed I.T. Support.

Due to the success of an expanding business, TFS purchased larger premises and RDIT were able to do a comprehensive audit of the new building, give an extensive report of cost effective solutions and install and configure a new network system.
