Background: Private Client Finance (PCF) provides financial advice and planning, to a range of clients including first time property buyers through to High Net Worth clients in the City of London.


Problem: started with Private Client Finance 7 years ago, they came to Red Dragon I.T. because their network was unstable with badly configured servers.  We were able to reconfigure and reinstalled software to give a stable platform.


OFFICE 365: Private Client Finance were previously using Office 2007, which was coming to the end of its shelf life, so they moved across, with multiple users and three different companies they needed to supply a system where they could have their emails in one place and be accessible from anywhere in the world.  They also needed synchronisation of calendars and contacts so moving over to Office 365 was a no brainer.


DISASTER RECOVERY: at the beginning, PCF were responsible for their own back-ups, but the external hard drives were not being swapped and ransomware virus encrypted all of their documents on all computers and servers.


Solution:  RDIT travelled to London to collect the server. After wiping and reinstalling all the software the server was then taken back to London to reconfigure all the computers.


Outcome: RDIT have gone on to support Private Client Finance with a number of other services:
